Thank you for your passionate comment. And you’re quite right. From now on, in deciding what to read, I will not be influenced by anyone’s opinion. I will simply stand in the middle of the library, close my eyes, spin around and point. Of course, given the selection of my local library, I’m afraid this will result in my reading an inordinate amount of Jude Deveraux, but that’s a small price to pay for not being a lemming!

Any writer who lets his or her friends’ opinions of books dictate his or her reading list doesn’t deserve to tell anyone else what movies to watch. How about thinking for yourself? READ Eggers before you decide you don’t like him solely based on a movie you didn’t enjoy. Sad.
